Never looked better, you can’t stand it
Well, summer is slowly coming to an end, as it seems, which is no fun to be completely honest. Even though I was in summer classes to catch up on credits, I had a lot of fun this summer living with two of my sorority sisters. They made it bearable, let me tell you.
I have immersed myself in the two latest ARG’s* (or so people are saying that’s what they are) in the intrawebs world. This is kinda a review of sorts, and a bit of rambling too, so I’ll put it under both sections. Anyway… the two ARG’s deal with a new movie by J.J. Abrams, codenamed “Cloverfield” apparently (though I’ve seen quite a few different codenames for it), and a new apparently table top RPG by Mindstorm Labs called Alpha Omega.
So it’s been quite a while since I actually added a journal entry. I figured I’d do it now since I am not tired though I should be going to sleep. Anyway… here goes….
In my gaming life, which has been pretty pathetic, I’ve been playing Guild Wars for the past two weeks. I think I’m taking a break now though, it made me angry because I couldn’t finish this one mission. Before that I started Final Fantasy 12, which I still have yet to even play through the first hour or so. Such is life though, when you’re a college student.
And on that note, as I type this on this day, it could be my last day for summer session 1, as the union of professors might go on strike. Not so happy about it, but then again, I really don’t know what’s going to happen. If something outrageous happens, I think I might transfer, even though it would mean having to be at that school for two more years. That’s the only problem, but then again, I might not get out of college for another year and a half depending on what happens this summer.
And speaking of school, I am now in a sorority, Sigma Sigma Sigma, as many of my friends who will more than likely read this know. I know, it’s about time, right? Heh, well I’m happy and I couldn’t ask for a better group of sisters. Speaking of which, if I end up transferring, I’d be very sad to leave all of them.
And another topic for you here, JD and I finally set a date, and I couldn’t be more excited. Now it’s time for planning, and I already have a theme, colors, my choice of bridesmaids dresses and my own dress, now hopefully I can get them. I still have a lot of planning to do though, which is going to be crazy, but I’m still excited.
And I think that’s about the only few exciting things going on in my life at the moment. I can’t really think of anything else that has happened that really stands out, or that I feel I should share with the online community. I guess this is it for my update.
I hate it when I have boring spells and/or things I cannot write openly about. There’s not much going on right now, but I just thought I’d say I’m not dead. I’m very excited because we’re taking our National Test on Monday, and I actually have less money that I still have to pay for dues than I thought I did, so I’m excited. 
It’s somewhat of a relief, but it’s still somewhat stressful as well. I hope this turns out okay for me!
Other than that, I’ve been doing well with my school stuff. Not so sure about stats, but when a professor doesn’t really teach, especially in a logical order so you’re jumping around from problem to problem not knowing what’s going on, and the book doesn’t help you learn much either, it’s kinda hard to understand what’s going on. I’m trying though, but even if I think I know what I’m doing, I still get pretty bad grades on my tests, even though I get perfect grades on the homework he gives. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong and it’s starting to make me angry. I’m doing fine in the rest of my classes, but this one still bothers me.
Nothing else exciting has happened in my life, since this is basically all of my life. School, sorority, eat, sleep… in no particular order since all of them are important to me and just important in general.
